Today is my 52nd birthday. As of yet there has not been a birthday that I have "dreaded" or have really stressed over. Having more birthdays beats the alternative, so I'm a happy camper!!
Over my 52 years I have been blessed by being raised in a Christian home with loving parents and many (11) brothers and sisters. Of course life has had its ups and downs, but the ups so outnumber the downs, that the down times pale in comparison.
I love my husband, my daughters and sons-in-law, my sweet grandaughter, my extended family and my friends. My life is full and rich and I thank God for it all!!!
I really don't dread aging. I have had friends who dreaded birthdays (yes, already)...to me, it's about getting a chance to grow. "Aging" is more about state of mind than a number increasing yearly. It's refreshing to hear others share the same sentiment...
